Insomnia is a terrible counter effect to one of the benefits that this herb offers, which is to relieve stress. If a person lacks sleep, especially if he or she has a stressful and demanding job, or is a parent with little toddlers, the lack of sleep can compound stress and overworking. To avoid taking high dosages, make sure not to ingest between 1500 to 2000 mg of the herb each day.

People who are prime candidates to Rosea Rhodiola extract side effects include those that have bi-polar disorders and those with other psychological disorders. It would be best to consult first with a doctor before doing so. Reports have shown that those falling into this category experience extreme mood swings and also hallucinations. If left unchecked, the situation could become very serious.

To avoid any of these issues, it would be best to start with a low dosage at first. Make sure that you are not experiencing any of the side effects mentioned above, if you do, then either stop taking Rosea Rhodiola, lower your dosage, or consult a doctor.

Also, never take Rosea Rhodiola with an empty stomach, if you do so, you may experience heart palpitations and a somewhat shaky feeling like when a person ingests too much coffee.

But don’t let this dissuade you from getting the many benefits that Rosea Rhodiola can provide, these side effects rarely happen and in just isolated cases, the best thing to do is alays to consult a doctor.
