The basic drum set will include a bass drum, a snare drum, two mounted toms, and one floor tom. For the cymbals, you will only need the hi-hat, the crash, and the ride.

You may also be tempted to buy additional hardware and drum set accessories, such as double pedal for the bass drum. If you play music that doesn’t really require you to play double bass, then buying the double bass pedal is only a waste of money.

In fact, you can find a basic drum set that can cost more than a thousand dollars if they are made by a reliable manufacturer or brand. If you are just a beginner, you can go for drum set that are considered to be mid-range. They don’t cost as much, but they will be able to provide you with good quality.
