Paintball Info

Many players compete with one another in the paintball game. The players are divided into two teams and the primary goal of each team is to capture their opponent’s flag. You can even play the sport in your own yard as long as you have the necessary equipments and protective gear. In the outdoor fields, paintball can accommodate as many as 500 players. The two teams are distinguished by the color of their armbands. Playing the game can take a few minutes or even a whole day if there are so many players.

Paintball is often played in different locations. Depending on the game’s location, players can choose to be sneaky and quiet but there are times when the strategy used is shooting fast, constantly, and loud. In order to win, players should be ready for competition; they should focus and concentrate on the game. Paintball can be compared to hide and seek or the tag game because others will be aiming at you while you also aim for your opponents. Because of the possible dangers of the game, players should have the right protective gears like goggles and other special outfits.

Just like all the other ball games, the main element of this sport is the paintball. If other games use only one ball, in paintball, you will be using as many paintballs as you like. The paintballs are rubberized balls which contain water based paints. You don’t need to worry about your safety because the paintballs are water soluble, biodegradable, and non toxic. Although it can be a bit painful if you get hit, you can limit the stinging by wearing the right kind of outfit. The paintballs are lightweight but you can feel the impact when the ball hits you and the paint will surely mark you out of the game.

In order to launch the paintballs, players need to have their own gun or paintball marker. The paintballs can travel at about 290 miles per hour. The paintball gun is available in different types as well. The paintball guns use different kinds of pressure systems like ordinary air, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide. The hopper holds the paintball in place as you aim the gun to shoot opponents.

Safety is the most important thing in paintball. The players should be aware of the strict regulations in using the paintball guns. The maximum speed of the paintballs should not exceed 300 ft/sec. You may notice a bruise on the area where the paintball hit you and it can sting a little but you will not get hurt badly. When the paintballs are fired at a great distance, the impact is also reduced. You need to protect your eyes because you might get hit on the face. Eye injuries should be avoided because it can cause serious injuries.

Paintball is not only played for recreation but it is also used for police and military training. The paintball gun is somewhat similar to the actual firearm and so the trainees will experience how to handle and fire a gun. They will be able to develop their combat skills in the different games they play.

Paintball leagues are now being held in the US and if you want, you can also take part in the games but you have to be good at it. There is also a paintball league for the professionals. Know their rules and join the games.
