The State of New York is considered to be a birder's paradise. If you want to go birding, then going to New York is definitely for you. If hiking or climbing is your thing, New York State will be able to give it to you. This state is considered to be a climber's and hiker's heaven. You can hike the trails in the Adirondacks and Catskill Forest Preserves or you can try hiking the Appalachian Trail which is very famous in the country. The Shawangunks is the most popular spot for rock climbing and one that you should definitely try.

New York has a lot more fun things that you will be able to do in the great outdoors. You can experience some of the best fishing in the country and also explore the great outdoors through guides. Whatever you want, you can be sure that you will be able to find in New York State.
