I am not sure where I'm at with this subject of cloning, it sounds a bit cheesy to me; you know the old saying: something smells in Denmark. It kind of reads like this in my mind, confused mind, or maybe not so confused, maybe the world is wrong and I am right, any how it goes like this: let's kill an infant, why not, we do a million of them abortions a year that way, anyhow; now that we've legalized this, let's use some of it for fish bate. "No, no?no!" says the laboratory man (or woman), "?you've got it all wrong!" I knew that was coming. They always say that, and ten years down the road they modify. I mean, today it's absolutely right, tomorrow they say: "Well, we just didn't know back then?!" In reality, we knew a million or so people knew because most likely, they were screaming it, but others were screaming louder, and no one heard.
Ok, let's start all over. The laboratory embryonic stem cell expert says:
"We've (we've meaning: whoever is paying their wages) got to keep it fresh in the refrigerators"; you mean, refrigerators are now incubators? You know the kind we used to keep babies in. But of course these are not near babies yet.
It seems to me like the experts in this cloning area, are becoming politicians, theologians; along with the laboratory embryonic stem cell experts. I mean, we are just talking about microscopic human eggs I think; now she opens the membrane and out fly's creation: she used the lost needle in the hay stack, I think-now found. So now we got human cells, what happened to Darwin's theory (or way?) Everyone's in a hurry can't wait for a billion years to grow a longer nose or fins out of your armpits. I suppose I should not be so critical, but all these folks on TV and in the paper are so damn serious about this great discover. I mean they are showing how great it could be for the sick now. Don't any of us want to die anymore? I mean, I think it's a great thing death, without it, we'd be suffocated with a lot of body stink. I suppose I should stick to poetry, this area is a little trigger happy for me. It gets on my bad side.
To be quite honest, I think God's plan for death is as good as his plan is for life. We wake up and look at the birds and bee, and we go to sleep and dream about them. I have always woken up, so I assume when I die, I'll wake up to something different. I suppose it is fear of the unknown that everyone is afraid of: you know what I mean, we are all wondering if we have displeased the big man upstairs. Or how much crap did we get away with; or how much more do we want to continue to get away with it. So let's clone to death. Don't get too up set over this, it is just an opinion, what do I know about this; about as much as everyone else, and to me it smells.
Now we got human DNA mixed with artificial cells. The cracked eggs can now be used for shopping bags or billfolds, just like pigskin in the slaughter houses; and I've worked in them slaughterhouses; everything must be used you know. Soon we will order custom made cells soon, in the name of somatic cell nuclear transfers or something like that (SCNT).
This process is starting out like abortion did thirty-years ago. That is, at one time it was a mortal sin to have an abortion, now you are cursed if you don't accept it as a norm. Tomorrow stem-cell, and in five years, we will have rabbet feet, dog ears, and no bellybutton?it will be a hell of a job just trying to balance our heads on our skinny little necks.
This is just an article or opinion by an author and poet that has too many of them sometimes...!
